Integrated Watershed Managment Plan (IWMP)   The EICD is currently working on a plan that will be designed to maintain and improve the health of the Netley-Grassmere watershed. This plan will set goals, actions and timelines that will act as a guide to the protection of our resources for the public, governments and other agencies.   The initial steps in creating a viable watershed management plan is to ask the public what issues are of concern to them. This was done in June 2008, when the EICD hosted four public open houses.

Public input regarding concerns/issues within the watershed have been summarized and are available HERE. All individual responses were recorded, word for word, and are available in PDF for: Priority 1 Issues Priority 2 Issues Priority 3 Issues   The steering commitee is currently working to refine the plan and is developing a full draft version over the next couple of months.   Information about the watershed is available in a Watershed Characterization document which can be downloaded HERE.
